United States Softens COVID-19 Travel Restrictions
Higher Education Groups Advocate for International Students

The White House recently announced that all international visitors who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be eligible to enter the United States beginning November 8. While higher education associations have welcomed this announcement, they are urging the Biden Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to allow exemptions for international students and scholars traveling from countries with limited vaccine availability.
