The Duke School of Nursing (DUSON) trains students to understand health disparities worldwide.

DUSON’s Office of Global and Community Health Initiatives offers opportunities for students to work in diverse global settings.

Its global clinical immersion experiences allow students to gain cultural understanding, experience new health care systems and explore research questions with community partners.

Clinical sites include medical centers and universities in Central America, the Caribbean, East Africa and beyond.
