At the Nicholas School of the Environment, students and faculty pursue research that has the potential to make a difference worldwide. The Nicholas School prepares students to create a more sustainable future, offering courses in international environmental issues and policies.

In addition to offering an International Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy in China, the Nicholas School provides opportunities for its students to take courses with travel components.

Off-site courses take students to wildlife reserves in South Africa, wetlands in China and coastal communities in the topics. Other courses offer short-term trips to Israel, Belize, Turks and Caicos, and other field sites.
