Duke's Ties to Latin America and the Caribbean

Duke University’s connections to Latin American and the Caribbean include research partnerships in global health, in-depth studies of the history and culture of the countries of this region, and mutiple study abroad and civic engagement opportunities. The university offers majors in Spanish and Portuguese, and is home to an active Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
