Provost Duke-DKU Collaboration Fund
Purpose
The Office of the Provost at Duke University provides funding to support DKU and Duke faculty engagement and collaborative initiatives of high promise and mutual interest. This call for proposals (CFP) seeks proposals to cultivate collaboration between Duke and DKU.
Guidelines
- Two-step application process
- Step 1 – Open Call (All Eligible Faculty)
Faculty submit a brief proposal using the provided template. Proposals passing initial review will be invited to Step 2. - Step 2 – Invitation Only
Selected teams submit a full proposal using a separate template and detailed instructions.
- Step 1 – Open Call (All Eligible Faculty)
- Open to all full-time or primary faculty at Duke and DKU
- Projects must name one Duke PI and one DKU PI
- Research and educational projects are both eligible
Key Dates (AY 2027–2028)
- Step 1 Proposal submissions begin: September 1, 2026
- Step 1 Proposal submission deadline: November 15, 2026
- Step 2 Proposal invitation begin: January 1, 2027
- Step 2 Proposal submission deadline: March 1, 2027
- Project awarded: May 15, 2027
- Project start date: July 1, 2027
