Duke at Home in the World

In November 2018, the Office of Global Affairs is inviting the Duke community to participate in a campus-wide celebration of our international ties.

The month-long series of events – including performances, panel discussions, lectures and networking activities – will highlight the work of schools, institutes, departments and student organizations that are engaged with communities all over the world.

Join the conversation about issues affecting communities locally and globally, learn from other people and cultures, and help Duke work toward solving worldwide challenges.

All Duke schools, institutes, departments, offices and organizations are invited to submit events with global themes, such as immigration, health, entrepreneurship, art, environment and international opportunities for students. Propose your own event by September 30.

This series is organized by the Office of Global Affairs and sponsored by the von der Heyden Fellows Fund, established by Karl (’62) and Mary Ellen von der Heyden.
