Title VI International & Area Study Centers
The United States Department of Education has awarded Title VI National Resource Center grants to international centers and programs within departments throughout Duke University since 1973. By definition, an NRC is a competition and award-based grant that supports institutions of higher learning to fulfill their ongoing mission of providing the best international area studies training for students within Arts & Sciences and the professional schools.
There are currently six funded NRC Centers at Duke:
